He is highly skilled in fertility treatments and laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries, offering comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions, including male and female infertility, menstrual disorders, fibroids, endometriosis, uterine prolapse, sexual dysfunction, recurrent pregnancy loss, uterine polyps, uterine anomalies, and stress urinary incontinence. Dr. Shyjus holds several prestigious positions: he is the National Chairperson of the Midlife Management Committee of FOGSI and the State Chairperson of the Research Committee of KFOG. He has also served as the Joint Secretary of the Kerala Federation of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and the President of the Cannanore O&G Society in Kannur, Kerala. He has been recognised with numerous awards and honours, including the S. N. Joshi Women Empowerment Award 2022, the Mrs Shailaja Pandit Women Empowerment Award 2020, the Dheera Award 2022, the International Travelling Fellowship FOGSI Award 2019, and the FOGSI Super Star Award 2019.
